April 2, 2010.  So. Cal beginning. No PCR.  Simply HAB and HAB-DA assays.

Bruce (water = 55m):  was dragged about 50m, and ended up about 5m deeper than deployed.

April 29 Recover Bruce.  Blowing.  April 30, recover Mack.

April 14 Deploy NEO w/PCR. Introduced water next day. several recoveries weathered out. Finally recovered April 22.
May 4.  Deploy Moe w/PCR to M0.  Start of leapfrog series.
May 25.  Recovered Moe and replaced with NEO.  This cruise filmed by Melancon. This was 'hot-swap' cruise.
June 15.  Recovered NEO and replaced with MOE. This was a 'hot-swap' cruise; can, orange battery boxes, ISUS battery, CTD battery, and GPS batteries all replaced. mooring and anchor/bungees were re-used.
Pressure problems developed;  MOE recovered Jun 23.  Discovered pooched o-rings.

July 22-28;  Western Flyer Cruise with D-ESP; Gordon and PCR at Methane Mound (33.799, -118.647).

 August 3;  Deploy NEO at M0 with tombstone PCR

August 30; Recover NEO from M0

September 14 -- deploy drifter (Mack, no PCR) off Western Flyer
September 19 -- recover drifter

September 28 -- Triple deployment-MOE @ M0-- w/PCR, ISUS.  121 54.11 E; 36 50.10 N.  72m water depth
September 29 -- Bruce @ offshore (SC) with LISST, no PCR, no ISUS.  Using saline EtOH as preservative.  36 53.75  -122 2.75. 52m water depth.  Weight measurements are HERE.
September 28 -- Mack @ bight --  no ISUS. no PCR; Using RNALater as preservative.  36 55.95  -121 55.35.  19m water depth.  (Lat/Long are from Aaron Gregg after deployment.)

Nov 3 -- recover all three. Moe ran out of battery on/around Oct 28.

Nov 30 -- Deploy D-ESP on MARS.  Gordon w/ PCR.  Reagents/mission for 2 month deployment.

Dec 2 (4pm) lost network connectivity. 48V current went from 3A to 0A; isolation relay triggered, cutting off ethernet.  375V continues powering heater.
Dec 6 -- 375V current has dropped to zero.  Ball is dead.
Dec 8 -- 10:30am, somehow ESPMars rebooted.  temp 5.5C when rebooted.

Dec 9 -- 2:30pm.  Restarted mission.

Dec 23 -- lost communications soon after 6:20pm.  375V stopped drawing on Dec 28.
Jan 4, 2011-- Recover D-ESP from MARS
